Roofrack no# ZVW 151 702

Post by 4-eleven »

Hi, does anybody here know what a roofrack with the partnumber:ZVW 151 702 looks like? Does anyone have a picture that can be posted here?
The thing is, I'm looking for a roofrack for my 411vagon and have found one but I only got the partnumber and no picture of it.

The type I want is the one you bolt on to the roof, like in the picture below. So, is the "ZVW 151 702" a rack like the one in the picture? Any idea?

I think that the part number you are referring to (the one on ebay) might be the other one I've seen, but I have no idea. It looks more factory than that one. I think vwfye has one on his wagon. I have the one that is in the picture on my wagon, but the car is in storage 800 miles away.

Yep! The one on ebay.
When I think about it the one on vwfye's wagon looks better than the one on the picture I posted.
Well, it might be an interesting suprise opening the package so... what the he** I'll take my chanses and bid on the mysterious package!
ebay is fun, type4's is fun, double fun! :D

The rack pictured is actually a shot of my car from whenthe previous owner had it...

It's a Type III Squareback rack and since I got it I flipped it around to position it correctly.

Here's another shot

The car is also up for sale or trade right now and I'm after pretty much anything pre-67 or would consider a pre-77 Rabbit with the rear Swallowtail panel.
