WBX coolant system cross flow conversion
What do I need to convert my 1.9L to the later style 2.1L cross-flow coolant system? They use the same heads so I figure it should work.

Different water pump, IIRC tstat housing and crossover pipes.
I want to try a reverse flow setup where coolant goes radiator> heads first and pump sucks from cylinders, ala Evans cooling.
(Would require an external water pump or something weird impeller wise)
Heads would run 30-50 degrees cooler, less chance of det, more uniform cooling etc.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

I see no reason they couldn't last a long time, they make electric power steering pumps... for production cars, requires much more power.
It's not really a highly stressed part, but I'm sure there is junk out there.
It does have the benefit of being one less belt, and might even simplify the plumbing as you would mount it off the engine/by the trans perhaps.
(haven't actually done it, so only a guess)

Supposedly can raise CR a full point or 2 or run more boost. (same thing) on the same gas.
(i.e. possibly run >10:1 on regular with stock cam, better efficiency and more power, all else being the same)
The MV wasser cam has similar timings to a Web86, just a lot less lift. Rockers can fix that...within reason.
