Tie Rod Ends

When I redid the front end on my 411 I did everything except the tie rod ends. I at least put new boots on the old ones, but would like to go ahead and replace the original joints anyway. From the parts book it looks like they carry T3 part numbers. Does anyone know the years they were used on the T3s? Are there any others that will work well?
