fenders beading
i have question ,, i have brand new finders beading ,, and i want to know what is the best ,, paint this fenders beading with my car paint ( maya gold ) or keek with the original color ( dark brown) it is in ,,vinil,, that is a kind of rubber and plastic ( polivinil ) thanks for your oppignion ,,, albert

The question of the century. I opt for paiting the strips first and then installing them. The problem I have seen is this. These stips are made of vinyl. Vinyl is nasty stuff. It shrinks quickly when you get into hot weather like we have down here. If the strips are painted/sealed onto the fenders ....they crack and mess up the paint. If you paint the beading first....when they finally do crack they do not mess up the fenders. Ray

thanks ,,ray ,, for your oppignion,,i agree with you ,,we have the same problem here in the north but for différent reason ,, the salt on the rod during the winther ,, and acid rain can doo the rust ,, but for to stop this fault i have put on the car frame and on the fenders , the 2" lardge strip ,black sealing gum ,and the fenders seal in sandwitch , i thing i do a good job for long temp ,, and for your information i have find the best fenders beading for the 412 ,, 15.$ for all the car ,, 20 feets thanks for your reeplay,,,albert
