hy,,ray,, the 180 d.f. for the 412 thermostat ,,that is correct ,, for one reason ,,i have find on 2 américan car model ,,the same thermostat , one is for ,,corvair ,by chevrolet in the years 60 ,,and one with little hand work on the ,,jeep cjs,, for the years 80 ,,, only 20.$ and they are disponoble,, on the market,, for the ,,jeep they said 180.d.f. and the ,,corvair ,,muilti randge ,,170-185 d.f. on the corvair ,, they show the exact reeproduction with the 412 ,but quatity limited ,,, albert

yes ,,thanks for the compliment ray,, but i am not satisfaid ,,, i ask if the 180.d.f. is to hight for the 412 ,,or if 170 to 175 d.f. is betther ,,albert
