i've got my hands on a dj case and i have a new set of type one 90.5 p and b, can i use these or is the 94 the standard?

You can use 90.5mm cylinders, you just need to make up some adaptor rings. See www.rockyjennings.com under new product "cylinder adaptor rings".

You dont have to order those rings from Rocky. I have made rings similar myself, and they are rather easy to cut on a lathe. If you're not able to make them yourself, it should be a simple task for a local machine shop.

Even though you can use 94mm cylinders without adaptor rings, I would'nt do it, because it will be difficult to get them sealed properly to the block.

i assume you mean 90.5mm in that last paragraph

no, I did mean 94mm...
If you read at Rocky's site you will see that he also mentions this problem.
The problem is that the "window" for the original wbx 94mm cylinder is bigger than whats needed for 94mm T1 cylinders.
But if you want to use the 94mm cylinders, then just go for it, and solve the problems as they arise.

Duus, You mean try to stop the leaks. That is the problem! If all some one wants is cheap then don't use the rings. Deal with the leaks. The cylinders fit in the block very nice with my adapter rings. As far as making the rings have at it, in about 3 hrs. IF you are a good machinist you mite be able get them as close as the CNC ones I make. I just try to offer parts that work. With the rings I make you get a great foundation for the cylinders to sit on. I make a nice part and someone else says you dont need it. I saw the problems & found a way to fix them. Hey Rocky,
Do the bottom fins on the Cima cylinders need maching to fit into your adapter rings? Can you setup the rings thicker or thinner to set deck height without spacers?

Sorry Rocky, I was not trying to say enything bad about your products.

But since most of us oxy guys like a little fab work, I just figured that I would let Tronsobar know that it is possible to make stuff like this yourself if you have access to a lathe and milling machine.
I do waste a lot of time having fun in workshop doing stuff like this, but I dont see that as a bad thing...
