VW's aircooled mini SUV. Great for riding in the country, or cruising the beach.

Sorry man, I've been doting on my winter driver. It's so much fun on icy, empty parking lots!

I am restoring my Thing with help from this site. During the down time maybe look at organizing it an adding new videos, pictures etc. I'm not saying that the site is not organized, just that down time is a good time to reflect over what has been done and make any adjustments. I love the site. Keep up the great work. Tom

FYI Tom is a RoMTOC pal and has entered into the Thing quest. The dude has been bitten by the bug. I suspect he could buy a new BMW but would rather resurrect a Thing back to life. That deserve a high level of respect.
Lets get it on . So to speak..

I agree. I just wish more folks would post their questions and project news over here.

The corners of the header top bow seem to be too close to the windshield frame. Anybody else have this problem?

I have been dreaming of digging Herr Kubelmann out of his Ice Cave and getting him to the shop to have a mystery fuel leak solved and his new 914 racing oil coolers installed in pre for the North to South (Alaska to Mexico) treffen. So close yet so far away. Life goes on while you are making other plans.
