VW Thing VIN location?

I pick up the Thing tomorrow. Where's the VIN located? I figure there's a sticker on the doorjamb, but where's the stamped VIN at?
Answer-
1- - Under the back seat, on the "tunnel"
2- - Under the hood on a riveted on tag
