WBX engine building question for Marco

Post by DORIGTT »

Hey Marco, I didn't want to hijack the oil in my water thread anymore

You wrote - "the hydraulic lifters work fine in these applications but limit lift and total performance(limited cam choise). "

Is this where the ratio rockers come into play by allowing available lift from milder camshafts?

Cams are ground intentionaly for ratio rockers or not , for hydros or not, you can "get away" with using ratio rockers on a stock hydro cam because its so mild! but would not recomend running ratio rockers on a non ratio rocker cam(e.g engle 120 with 1.4 rockers is far too agresive)
good luck

What cam would you use in a 1.9L that was being used for street and some track (not drag)
