VW's aircooled mini SUV. Great for riding in the country, or cruising the beach.

Just thought I'de throw out a few pics of my LS1 Thing.
There'll be numerous changes coming in the next month or so though, I'll post them up as well.

hey man, that's a badass looking car.

i don't think you can call it a Thing, though. what does it have, like 3 or 4 thing parts on it?

It's titled as a '74 Thing. It's been called "Trophy Thing" before too.
It has a full Thing body, windshield, and side curtains......maybe the door mirrors depending on when they are on. :lol:

call me a purist, but if it doesn't have an aircooled engine, it isn't a vw thing.

but, as i said before, it's badass, whatever you call it :-)

I don't know what you ought to call me, but if I had an unlimited budget, that's exactly how I would build a Thing. Totally bitchin. I've been drooling over it since I saw it. Awesome.
