if you look for one solution for the side chrome molding,, the volvo 1985-90 molding can doo a nice job,, i have picture if somebody need that,,, ruffley ,, you can reemoove all the black rubber on the volvo molding for to keep only the st.steell, molding,,, the dimention is appx the same with the 412 ,,but it is important to change the clips,, i have pic. for the new clips,, albert

hello,WALLY,, yes they are on my car,, i got the original new set ,but i keep that for spare, for wend i sale my car, if the futur horner want the original,,, for my dailay driver i want a molding more strong , sta.stell,, for this reason i have install this old volvo molding, with her end cap( hand job modification) ,,,and for the clip,, the original 412 clip was to small, and the volvo molding clip was to big for the hole in the 412 fenders,,( i d,t want to do more lardge hole in the fenders ) ,, i have ,slide ,(5 by section) flat square cupper nut inside of the rail molding and i put the short cupper (or stan.stell ) bolt by inside of the fender , plus 2 rubber washer ,( inside and outside of the fender ) and samething for the door,, appx.1/2" long the bolt ,, that make a very strong job,,, no body can remoove for to do a joke, and they stay in place if you receeve a small shock,,,,,,i have reemoove all the black rubber on the volvo molding for to keep only the stanles stell,, if you want the tech. pict.,,, send me .pm.. albert
