I recently purchased a 74 Thing that has factory 14" wheels reversed
and sticking out beyond the fenders. It needs tires too so I thought I'd
get some 15" Centerlines for it. Here's my question; when I look at Centerline's web site they show a number of backspace options for VW. Have any of you used Centerlines? What size and backspace?

The bolt spacing is 5 x 205 mm Stock size is 15 x 5

I had to use widened fenders to get them all to tuck under.

Centerline does offer wide-5s with the correct 4 3/8 backspacing. Pretty pricey though.
