Popout rear windows?

Were popout rear windows ever supplied for the Type 4 Variants as I would like to get hold of a pair if I can so our dog can have some extra ventilation?

I have never seen them...but....oddly enough...at the apex of the rear quater windows (at least in the two door models)....under the headliner...you can feel a pair of welded in 10-12mm lugs/threads pre-installed from the factory exactly where the latch would go for pop-outs. Either that or they are for three point seat belt shoulder harnesses. With a little work and some VW fox latches...you should be able to do this. Ray

hy ,,ray ,, for this option,, i have a picture in my ,,cpu,, for this 2 options ,,, plus this bolt on the frame can serve for the dog belt option ,or baby belt ,that do many years vw have this ,,m,,code for that in europe ,, albert
