Well all the work has paid of and my 412 now drives extremly well with zero front end wobble and excellent steering response, thanks Ray for all the help with the mods.
The car now sits like this with an even 8 1/2 inches to the ground all four corners measured from a couple inches towrds the inside of the car from the wheels...

Cheers Neil, it is refreshing to drive it without the wobbly steering
Just need to fix an oil leak so I don't get blue smoke from the oily heat exchangers in the car, which is a tad inconvenient now it is getting colder, but at least it drives well

Wow, I love the look of this car! So what are those wheels called? I think I like the look of them better than my Baja Marathon rims!

Cheeky sod
As for the wheels Travis, I have no idea what they are as they were fitted when I got it. I have thought about refitting the stock rims on the odd occassion but I do like the way it looks with these on
Anyone contemplating using the Audi 80 inserts, as per Ray's choice of dampers for the front end, I recommend them as the front is nice and smooth and the grinding noise of dead inserts over the many speed bumps around here is a thing of the past...I'm very happy

In relation to those wheels, the term 'Interceptors' rings a bell, but I have never seen any in person. Looks great, though.

Cheers Travis, it drives great as well.
Just need to fix the pushrod seals to stop it marking its territory everytime we stop anywhere
And I never did around to fixing the Eberspacer this summer and I have noticed a hole in the Ebers exhaust so won't be firing it up for a while now, if at all
