Nice looking work there 2stroke!
Hell of a 'sleeper'. Looks like the deck would close easily.
Have you had a chance to put it on a dyno yet???
I'm a little concerned about the lifespan of your fan belt. Looks like that header (whick looks totally badazz, by the way) might get that belt a little toasty. I could be looking from the wrong angle, though.
Nice ride man

nope, even with the decklid closed, it runs cool, im sure with the bottom propped it would only get cooler.

Nice ride man Twisted Evil
luckily belts are cheap, no dyno time yet, not sure I will, I'm going to convert the clutch to a dual disk setup then ill get some timeslips on it.

Such a nice and uniquely design engine! Placement of the turbo is very cleverly done. Me like! Very nice indeed.
But why still running carbs?? The modulator rings surely cost you a lot of flow and hence power (not to mention fuel..)
Next update EFI?

Are you still using the boost referenced float bowls? Sounds like it was working pretty good before with high boost levels.
Are you monitoring head temp?

Sh*t's the tits!
What's the story with the v-band clamp holding on 6 inches of pipe? Do you have a muffler setup to swap on?

Using carbs because i have them, No mod rings, look at the picture of my carbs that turbobaja posted, from that an fitting a 3/8" hardline goes into my boost stream to catch a good flow of pressurized air.
If/when I go efi, I will ditch the dual setup and do a single aftermarket 5.0 throttle body.
I am monitoring head temp via a water temp gauge (something you dont see often in a bug)
yes the Vband setup is so i can change from straight pipe to a muffler setup.
