In firefox.
Tools / Clear private data.
Make sure what you don't want to clear when browser closes is not checked.
I leave passwords only not checked.
Tools / Options / Privacy
I check Everything, Keep cookies until "they expire"
Optional to choose to clear upon closing the browser....I like to keep my cache and cookies deleted.
Tools / Options / Security
Check "remember passwords" for sites. (Make sure to look in the exceptions button to insure STF isn't in the list)
You can also go to "Saved Passwords"....make sure that you don't have duplicates for the site listed. You may have 2 passwords listed, so it isn't sure which to use next time you navigate to the site.
Try this list for starters. It's a browser problem for sure.
My $1 is on that you have more than one saved password or have STF on a list blocking the browser's memory.

I just realised that I might have to check my hyperlink in the Favorites. And yes, now it seems to work... I have to update the link in the Favorites at work too and see if it works there too.Sorry for bothering..
