WBX Heads cutaway

Post by fastback »

Just wanted to post some pic's of a WBX head i had cut in 2 , to se how it is made up.
intake port cut in 2
as u can se i did not cut the intake port in the center so the thickness of the wall's look thicker thatn the actually are.
The area in the "combustion chamber" is grinded/welded on so it does not show the org thickness
I'll also come back with better pic's and pic's of both part's + exhaust port
this is a Stock head , not the AMC aftermarket.
(if anyone have some pic's of a cutaway for the AMC head , i'm very interested. Going to do some porting on a set sooon)

So, looking at those... looks like my "dual plugs in a waterboxer" question has now been answered. That would be a "no, not without some major work" that would not end up worth the results, methinks.
