Hi 1 Chance Racing. I've been building Hot VW's for many years, and wouldn't think of someone else building my engine. 'Ive built many engines, drag rtaced a Ghia for a few years, but this is the fastest VW I've ever had, and it's a street only car.

Do you have any other photot's of it? I would like to see some. I had someone else build my motor because I'm not a mechanic. But I had problems with the heads after a few nights at the track. Now I've got it tore down. I just measured my deck height this evening. It was .160 on #1&2 and .170 on 3&4. I've got a long way to go. LOL

I have lots of photos, but I don't know how much they would help. The longblock was built from a Berg kit. The Turbo / FI kit came from CB. It's a street only car, but is awesome!!!!

You misunderstood me. I just wanted to see your Turbo street car Picture. Like maybe a side view.

The rest was just me explaining where I was with my ride right now.

You should make it clear that you measured the deck with the pre-existing shims under the barrels. Since you are starting over I would check the deck without shims. Your Buddy shimmed the barrels for the heads that were flycut way too much. He did what he had to do. Start fresh with your measurements take the shims out to get real world measurements. You should start a thread in forced induction on this just remembered this is the pic gallery.

Pictures don't do it justice... you should stand next to it on a sunny day!... and the engine sounds wonderful... instant wood...
