Found this in a small field near my home. Curious if anyone can guess approximately what year it could be and any other special aspects about it (if any) I'm thinking 1962 but I have never owned a split so I didn't know where to look for the ID tag.

62 or 63. Big taillights and fried egg front turnsignals.

VIN is stamped in the engine compartment near the battery box. It will be a 6 or 7 digit number. It's also on the M-code tag behind the front passenger seat. The M-code tag will have a bunch of other information about how the Bus was originally equipped.
