When I use the links in the email notifications for topics I have subscribed to, I don't get automatically logged in. I have "log me in automatically" set to true. My favorite link automatically logs me in. I'm using IE and Outlook. I've deleted old cookies. Even when I'm logged in and use the email notification link, I get sent to the login page. Before the recent upgrade, I thought email notification links automatically logged me in.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong... Maybe others have same issue... Maybe it's no big deal...

I just had the opposite problem. Email notification automatically logs me in fine, but my favorite (http://www.shoptalkforums.net/viewforum ... &sid=<code deleted>) did not. I changed my favorite to http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewforum.php?f=12 and now both work. I then logged into stf.net, got a new sid, and all ways work. An old sid fouling up my cookies? Anyway, no problem here. Thanks, Bill
