Welcome to the STF 71oahughia tell us more about your ghia.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Front bumper came from "sun city VW" in Florida. It was on the car when I bought it, tried to find them to get one for the rear but no such luck.

5 1/2 wide all around, 165/45/15 on front. 185/60/15 rear.

I believe I have the same bumpers that you have. Bought them at a vw swap meet in florida. I've never seen them before until right now on your car. I thought I was the first. I have both front and rear and they have never been painted or mounted. I'm excited. Car will be painted silver.
