wbx 2.1 turbo

At this time, i busy with my project: WBX 2.1 Turbo.
The turbo i use for this, is a Borgwaner 7g9n 6k682 ae .

My question is: Is it without problems useable according to the schematic beneath here?

It looks to me like a water scedule, why does it say oil with the drawn box and is the water trough the turbo for cooling?

you need a redesign as you are feeding heated water instead of cool water, it would work as
you show it if you put the heated water through a radiator.

I use a turbo, that can be watercooled.
The oilcooler is a new type WBX and is watercooled.
you need a redesign as you are feeding heated water instead of cool water, it would work as
you show it if you put the heated water through a radiator.
I don't understand, what you mean, i think the water is being cooled first through the radiator.

you should take the water supply to the cooler and turbo before it enters the engine and after it comes back for the radiator

Also, using the 2.1 water/oil cooler in that location will INCREASE your oil temp.
You are better off with a remote radiant oil cooler with a fan.
HOT water exits the heads. I would also add outlets at the front cylinder head water passages and connect them to the thermostat, similar to the 2.1, for more even cooling on cylinders 1 and 3.

well done so far Andre, almost there, but from my experience with fabricated steel plenum chambers, yours will split sooner or later, later in drags, sooner in circuit racing. i cannot see any provision for expansion across the inlet system so more applied stresses there also. you need a slip joint on at least one pair of runners. the steel for the plenum needs to be about 3mm to avoid splitting and becomes heavy and unworkable, much better fabricating it in aluminium alloy with silicon hose connections, similar to the stock method, it only takes about 1 bar pressure to start flexing the plenum, remove it and blank it off, then connect to an airline and cycle it with about your boost pressure,, pressure/ vac/ pressure/vac as if you were on the gas and you will see it start flexing, it will crack at the welds probably. hope this helps and saves some problems later.

I try to cool the oil with the watercooling is this not working than can I always use an extern cooling

I change the plenum chamber

I don't know where you are, andre, and I know this may be suggesting that you redesign a lot of your roject, but if you could get your hands on the late 2.1 cooling system you would have an easy time setting up cooling for the oil cooler and turbo. The late system has a pressurised takeoff nipple right on the water pump with cooled water that has just returned from the radiator, and there is flow available there at all times. I studied the early 1.9 cooling system like your diagram and it's pretty difficult to get cooled water flow that is constant for accessories anywhere in that system.

I was left with a similar dilema for my transplant.
The early style cooling system has the advantage of not requiring bulkhead cutting but the downside is the thermostat and pipe corrosion.
I disposed of the 2.1 oil cooler, fitted a 1.9 oil filter stud, then a mocal oil feeder connected to an external oil cooler.
Once you have that fitted you can then pump in your turbo after the oil cooler.
Been using the car for more than 2 years now including a 1200 mile round trip to wolfsburg at high speed and there have been no oil or water cooling issues.
Water cooling wise you could weld a pipe outlet into the pipe that connects the pump to the right side water jacket.
The return could be fed back into the burp tank circuit but you need to ensure the pipe sizes restrict water flow so the right water jacket does not get starved of cool water.
