Does anyone know the diameter of the door pins?

Have a new lathe, need to play with it

That is a good project. I could use some of these for the all numerous hinges I have. Let me know how they turn out. I happen to have a few NOS new OE Thing hinges with pins. The pin is 6mm diameter or .238" and the pin is 32.5 mm long or 1.28"

Making hinge pins on your lathe is a waste of time. The stock ones are hardened. Whatever you make will be too soft.

No the rolled hardened steel pins are drivin into the hinge hole
