Good job on the article! Also, thanks for the picture of my Cali-converted motor in my ghia vert.. BTW, I just got my inline 4 cylinder conversion for my vanagon finished. I took my 1st road trip in it and it runs great!!!!! I didn't know a vanagon would run 90+ mph. If you're at Sevierville in May 02, you'll have to some by and take a look.

My 74 Bus, with the powerstroke runs 90, with a 2K payload...Southeast VW tried to keep up a few times, with no success....

By May of 02 I will have the CIS and TURBO installed, maybe we can run "Air Vs. Water"...LOL

By then, I will not be going anywhere in my Vanagon. I will be in the Squareback. But I still will not be able to keep up with you!!!!!

Glad you got a more powerful motor for that Van! Wish we would have thought of that before we stuck a Vanagon motor back in mine. Even though it has been very good to me this year! But can't do 90 in it though.
