If your calling the chamfered edge round that faces the lifter to aid installing the lifter. Both T-1 sets I have don't have that and the lifters fit in fine. More critical is lining up the oiling hole. You may have to ream or hone the inside of the bushing once they are installed in to get the clearance you want.

No machining? there will be machining... the lifter needs .040" under the cam base circle.
Heat the case and chill the bushes to press them in.

I sell them on the samba mine are made of bronze. And they will need to be honed after they are installed. Rocky

Hi, the rounded side should look in the direction of the camshaft!!
For mounting in the motor housing, the motor housing to warm to 80 ° C!
Then oil the bushes outside and squeeze. Ensure correct position of the cross-hole!
Then fit the inner diameter is! Oil is important!
If you have any questions, please write me!!

No machining needed? REally?
How much interference press is supposed to be included w/ the new bushings? I like to inspect the old lifter bores just to see if any or how much out-of-round they are and maybe take a skimming cut just to true them. Then machine the new bushings to size for the interference in the new hole.
The holes can be honed or bored to size.

Hi guys, Moin Thorsten,
I´ve already installed the bushings made by Thorsten. They fit fine. The oversize on the od of the bushing will influence the id after being installed in that way, that it will shrink it to the right clearance between lifter and bushing.
I´ll post some pics im my build thread the next days:
