Between the frame head rotted through and one of the rear wheel bolts destroyed, I've been afraid to drive Karen-Starshine (my 1971 Standard) too much lately. The frame head got done a few months ago, and today the bolt got replaced.
Ironically enough, the new bolt (and the other fifteen) will be gone soon regardless, as I'm replacing these damn alloy rims with stock wheels as soon as possible.
Just a random pic with the wheel off ... shiny body. Interestingly enough, the car is pretty damn filthy right now, especially the ass end (lots of dark dust, a mixture of road grime & the exhaust remnants). Still shiny ... I guess all those hours of waxing pay off
