Hi,
Wil a CU engine with 228mm flywheel fit behind a CM-gearbox (1800, 74-75)
Did a conversion with 1600 gearbox last summer, but this guy has a code-CM gearbox

i belive the 228 is for 091 style bell housings for 76 uptransmissions with 6 ribs. I belive the 74-75 bus box was a 5 rib 091 style box requiring the 228 mill flywheel

You need to match the clutch to the bellhousing, along with the flywheel and starter. All the bellhousing used on the Type 4's will bolt onto the various T4 trannies to the best of my knowledge.
