Post by Flatfourfool »

Will a squirl cage pancake type four fit in a ghia if you molest the sheet metal? is it possible to do it without hacking up the metal on the car side?

yes, but IMHO there's a better approach

make it an upright conversion; do a search for "NextGen" to learn more

I've run a 1.7 914 engine in my '70 Ghia and had already made the rear apron removeable. It fit without any other sheetmetal mod other than leaving the apron off.
