Another '69 Karmann Project

Post by Vettman »

I found this '69 sitting in a field yesterday. It was parked 10+ yrs. ago and left uncovered. Needless to say the floor pans are gone, but the body was nice and I got it running today. So, I guess it's worth saving! Wish me luck, I'll need it!

Hi Vetteman,

Good for you -- save that Ghia and it will repay you many times over in pure pleasure of ownership, heritage, and driving fun.

I'm going to re-do the brakes tomorrow. It has disks in front. The parts guy said that was an option for '69, and it was good to have them.

Hi Vetteman,

The Ghia got front disks in 1967, as standard equipment!

Hey VettMan you look to be a bit north of me but I do have some parts for Ghias and would be glad to help.
