EDIS boo boo

Post by Alexander_Monday »

Ok, Ok I am a dumb a$$. :x
Welded a new trigger wheel / pulley combo, but got it back a$$wards.
The missing tooth is 180 degrees out of phase.
It is a hub / pulley unit with 6 attaching bolts, so I could reverse BDC & TDC, but.....
Is there any reason I can't just reverse coil A & B wires?

It should work to swap the A & B wires and it is pretty easy to check.

If you have cyl 3 or 4 at TDC, the missing tooth should be 90 degrees ahead of the vr-sensor.

Thanks.

I thought so, but I wanted a reality check since I screwed it up in the first place.
I am conveting from NA carbs & MJ ignition to MS FI & boost at the same time, so just one more thing in the pot that could cause a headace.

If the wheel is steel, can you cut off the tooth and weld it back in the right spot?
