Is this a KG windscreen seal?

VW underneath a classic Italian body design.

Is this a KG windscreen seal?

My car had no windscreen when I bought it, but there was a box of assorted spares, this one piece rubber seal is I'm hoping the windscreen seal, anyone know for sure?

It may be, but there's no way to be sure without knowing what it measures out at. Assuming that it is `Ghia, there's `56-early`66, late`66-`69, and `70-`74. I don't know for sure if you can positively identify which one it is by the single trim groove, but someone here might.

That looks like "cal-look"'ish seal to me, I don't see a groove for the late T-trim or early C-trim.
I personally test "known to be ghia" seals by wrapping them around actual ghia glass, but any non-blocked seal fit is not always apparent.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

OK thanks, I don't think it would be an older Ghia window rubber as the place I bought it from didn't specialise in Ghias. It does seem to have a slot for the chrome trim, probably not noticeable in the pictures though.
