We had a good year at Bonneville this year. First air-cooled VW into the 130 mph club and 3rd fastest VW of the whole meet, behind a Streamliner and a Turbo R32 GTI I had to Back off so we didn't break out ( 130 club is between 130 and 139.99 mph, go faster and they kick you out). Here's a video of my back up run at 134 complete with a bit of wheelspin in 1st and a missed shift into 3rd. I ran 134 but saw 141 on the gps making up for the missed shift. Engine Built by Matt A. of Lake Havasu City, Az. with the help of Geoff Hart Racing. 2332cc 250+ Hp NA

Didn't go as fast as the Roadcow, but had just as much fun! First time to drive at Bonneville, and had two out of five runs at 102 mph with 1776 cc motor in my Ghia, so I'm real happy! Live your dream while you can!! Greg

Thanks Mark. I just read your build thread here. Awesome! Put a cage in it and run 150 Club.
