one followed me home yesterday

Post by ALYKAT III »

Somehow these critters just seem to keep following me home . Sold my last one a couple of months ago, so figured I was done with them. Then a guy offers me a two project cars swap for an old pickup that I haven't driven in two years, a baja and ...yup...a Ghia. Both are completely stripped down but all there (in boxes) include all new engine parts for the Ghia except for the original (all cleaned and machined) engine case. Lots of other new stuff for both cars . I believe I can live with this deal.

Hi AllyCat.

Nice. Is this going to be a street car or racer?

It is still a toss up in my mind Camper. It is straight enough and clean enough to go back stock pretty easily. At the same time there is enough rough / rusty spots that I wouldn't feel bad about major changes to the body and drive train. I think I'll just let it sit for a while, finish up another project, and kind of wait for it to speak to me on its own time.

Well, it spoke to me....sort of. Looks like I won't be able to keep it stored here as the house is going to go up for sale. Looks like the Ghia will have to go up for sale also.
