Hey everyone, it's good to see STF is still around; I remember this place from 7 or 8 years ago along with cal look forum (RIP) and TS when I was into Vdubs, though I was never a member I don't think.
I've had my '70 Bug since 1997 when I was 15. Well I kind of got sidetracked when i was in my 20's and was into sportbikes for quite a while but I have the urge to get my Bug back out onto the road now. She's been in indoor storage in dry eastern Oregon for the last 6 years and needs a new engine.
Well I hope to be on here quite a bit either researching stuff or asking questions. I know the Subaru conversions that everyone seems to be doing looks really intriguing, modern drivetrain in a VW, I'm definitely looking into that avenue in the Conversion Perversion forum.
