Picked up a new project to replace my Beetle. A pretty solid 74 Bus bought it from an older guy that had it on his farm for 25 years. It had one small obvious rust spot and after a thorough inspection forund a couple of other places that needed attention, just one area left to repair below the left rear window. I replaced the front panel since it was in rough shape and had been hammered out by someone that didn't know what they were doing. It was a lot of work to replace but worth the effort, it's taking shape and looking much better.

Making good progress should be able to start the 2.2 Subaru conversion shortly.

Got back to my project since I had a deadline, the Texas VW classic. made it barely finished the night before the event and left the next morning on a 600 mile round trip with a just finished conversion. Other than a bad oil leak I thought was fixed the trip went well made it home on it;s own power.

Thanks I love the ride, still needs more work but now it's a work in progress while I drive it.

Nice ride. I assume you have a radiator under the floor?

Yes the radiator is underneath and works very well. Made some
Changes to streamline the air flow and dropped the temps a little more. I have it up for sale now moving on to another project.
