We are still in process of developing the #71 turbo beetle. Whilst on a cool down lap the Porsche came past... so I tried to keep up. :D
We are still running 7psi boost and the new brake master cylinder does need some refinement of we need to go to a pedal box so I can transfer some more braking to the back.

Hi 4AgeDub,

Come on now, you must not have been listening when some of our forum guys told you swing axles can't go that fast!

Now please apologize to that Porsche and his fancy multi-link front and rear suspension.

LOL @ FJC

I'd love to build a 1303 some day with IRS and coil overs and see how much better IRS really is. From what I've heard it's way more forgiving than swing axle.

Plenty families are moving to Aus every month... I'll hold out a little longer. It's not that bad in South Africa... yet :(

Just recently met a young married couple who've moved here. They'd stopped feeling safe altogether in SA. The first weekend they were here we went for a walk around the suburb together. Afterwards, the wife cried as she told me that they'd never been able to do that in SA. I was pretty stunned. They're from Joberg too.
