Hi What can I say,
pretty well new to the site, have been labouring over an old Manx, based on a 61 Beetle, first registered as a Manx in 1979.
Started this almost 4 years ago to the day in Dec 2010, refurbed or made the parts. Has a 1916 motor finished Dec 1 2014.
Hope you like, I do, but I should :|

Here is the 100 mph build thread to make it look like it did not take thousands of hours.

Dec 2010 to Dec 1 2014

That's a real good resto mate.Did you put the build on Aussieveedubbers? I have just started to restore one and hope I kill it well under 4 years. Had planned on doing mine orange as well - definately a good look.

No mate have not put the build anyplace yet, I got pretty bad Cancer when I had finished year 2 on it, I was out of action for all of year 3, but I did do little bits on it. It really kept me going through that very hard year, the forth year it was a great driver to get me back on my feet to achieve something. Some things I had to do a few times to get them spot on, but I got there in the end. I would really recommend it, great little cars.
I took about 600 photos, I will put them on a site when Ive had a few months off it.
