I've had it for a couple years taking up space....didn't really have a plan for it until now....
Work is currently underway for a Subaru EJ22 install (but that's another thread for the Conversion Perversions forum).
Anyhow - I scored a set of Terras for it and wanted to maybe get another set of rims to mount them on.
I started taking things apart to determine PCD and it seems I've opened up a whole new can of worms (doesn't it always happen that way ?
The buggy has these brakes on it:

I've determined via part numbers that the calipers are off an 87 Lincoln Mark VII or Continental
Looks like I've got a 4 x 130 PCD:

So yeah....that's all the easy part...
Problem is.....
When I went to take the lug nuts off - I noticed a bit of errrrrr..."play"...in the hub...
Took out the cotter pin….removed the castle nut and found this:

Looks like this has been loose and chattering for a very long time…
The splines on the stub axle look “okay”:

Although I am going to have to clean them up with a file as I tried to slide a brake drum on and it wouldn’t go…
I’d like to keep the setup as it also incorporates a shock mount:

I guess my question is….
Has anyone seen a setup like this before ?
I’d really like to just like to clean up the splines and find new hubs to slide back onto the rotor..
If not…I suppose I could buy a new rear disc brake kit.
Don’t need a parking brake…trans is an 002..
Anyone have any suggestions ?
Thanks !
Dan
