211-905-205AA ignition timing?

Hi all - I'm trying to help a friend set up an engine, and it has a distributor that I can't be sure of what the timing should be. I've checked the usual online sources, and ETKA, and Google was not my friend this time, so maybe you can help.

The dizzy is VW part number 211 905 205 AA, Bosch number 0231 156 001. Also marked JUD4

It appears to be Vacuum advance only (single vac line) as it doesn't advance if I disconnect the vac line. I was going to set it to 7.5°BTDC @ idle (vac disconnected) but the vac advance seems very long on this, so have set to 0°/TDC to start.

It's currently in a '67 Split with AD 1600 twin port, so I know it's a mish-mash of parts, but that's what's in there so he has to work with it.

Any idea what the timing should be? What was this dizzy originally fitted to?
