Hi All, I never make topic's but I'm sure I need your help a lot.
After my AMR500 1600cc engine, I want to build an engine with more HP, and Torque..
Torque is the key word...

(And low budget.. but those doesn't match)
The engine will be placed in my 64' Splitscreen.
Car Specs: IRS/944 disc brakes , 911 steering rack, and is bagged.
The handling is very good

(even with bags , yes.. all home made)
What I have for engine parts now:
- T4 Cu Case
- stock crank
- stock rods
- webcam #119
- strait cut gears
- webcam lifters
- all new bearings +gaskets
- stock 2.0 cylinders
- 911 cooling system
- melling 30 mm oil pump
- Ford edis 4cil coil package
- crank pulley + 36-1 trigger wheel
- 1700cc heads (suitable now for 2.0) (bit upgrade on the intake)
- RVS Custom T4 turbo exhaust (Need to modify it)
- Alfa V6 single throttle house (bit bigger then from a golf vr6)
- Innovate MTX-L AFR
- Oil thermostat (on the engine, not external)
- external oil cooler with fan
- all small engine case parts
- GB intake manifolds
- 44mm wategate
- TD04-13T-4 Turbo
- GFB mach 1 BOV
Target +/- 150HP...
For EFI: Megasquirt 3.0 KDFI
If you have good advice feel free to post, this is my second engine build..
I will try to keep this topic updated.. I'm not much a writer.. so don't expect very long stories
Edit: on the parts list

Ditch the straight cuts. They are not needed and they will get on your nerves in 2 weeks time.
150 hp is easy, So no worries there.
I am not familiar with that turbo, so can“t help you out there.

X2 on the hp target.
I made 115hp with a 1641 on 4psi.
looking for a125 on the dyno soon at 10psi.
I think you got a nice base engine and FI to start your build!

The only problem that pops up and says "hi!" is the CU case... Weren't those the closed chimney Vanagon cases?
Its been done but needs more work, most folks would look for a 1700 case if only due to it incurring less of a beating.
Would work fine with stock cooling but makes the alt stand more of a challenge//$$$ doing an upright.
That and the straight cut gears, as noted, waste of $$$ on a T4.

Thanks all.
Yes the CU comes from a t25..
I also have a 1800 case, but one dowel pin has come out (when the engine was running)
The cam gears.. ah yes.. I love that sound.. it's in a bus.. so no worries.
@ Farmer, what turbo do you advise me?
I'm from NL - Amsterdam, mostly they use Garrett turbo's here

The GT28 turbo with a. 63 turbine housing will be fine. What pistons are you running? I would definetly recommend forged pistons. 200bhp would be more realistic with around 0.7-1bar boost. I would run 8:1 or 8,5:1 compression.

Hi Mark, thanks for your advice!
No, it's a OG CU cylinder kit with the hollow? pistons..
Maybe I can fit T1 94 mm forged pistons..

Cool thanks!
Question:
Do you know the best place on the engine case to get oil from, to the turbo? (at the pump? after the filter?)
And where to mount the oil return line?
Do I need to mod the engine case for this?

I heard that you get oil from the oil pressure sensor. Return to the valve covers or where originaly the fuel pump sits.
But only when the turbo is mounted above oil level.

Yes. But its a T4 case the OG fuel pump sits way back near the flywheel

I use a T fitting where the oil pressure sensor sits. For the return either in to your sump extension or make a fitting on the lower end of your oil dipstick tube. (that's how I have it). Make sure your turbo sits higher than your return port/fitting and as direct as possible. Use a larger diameter line than the feed line.

Ok, thanks, do you have pictures online? Or a build topic?
Thanks
