fuel sender info 6 & 12 volt what ohm's

does anybody know the ohm's for full and empty
on a 6 & 12 volt kombi fuel sender (split and bay).
i have been looking for a few weeks now and only come up with
12 volt beetle at 10 to 65 ohm's

Buses and `Ghias used balance-coil gauges through late `73, when they went to the thermal style similar to what's found in Beetles. Type IIIs all used the balance-coil gauge too.
Both setups are described here (including typical resistance values for the 6V - I dunno what they are for the 12V, but I've known several early Buses which were converted to 12V with no change to sender or gauge and they seemed accurate): http://www.speedyjim.net/htm/fuel_ga.htm
