I posted this question "nested" in another thread, and recognized likely needed standalone to generate conversation.
I installed 3 Bar MAP sensor; datalogged a couple 45 minute each runs on my LM-2. I downloaded to PC & can't seem to figure out how to "covert" the volt data to vacuum/boost display. Anyone with inside scoop? Do you set up in LM2 meter or within Logworks application?
FYI, red trace is MAP data, black - RPM, purple - AFR
Update - I found configuration/setup menu within Logworks under "input channel setup/config" which translates raw digitized data (e.g. voltage) into appropriate measurement units/scale/range; HOWEVER, it assumes you know what the correlation values should be. For example, 0.01 volts equals 2.4 PSI (I made that up....I have no clue what the voltage outputs are equivalent to in PSI). Does anyone know how to make the conversion, is it linear, is there a formula?? I know the sensor I installed is an equivalent GM 3 bar from NAPA.
