Buggy Beam to A Arm conversion

Post by ddsbuggy »

Good Evening all,

New to this site and looking for information on a post from dsrace that I pulled up on a search for suspension conversion.
I am hoping to get the measurements for the tube lengths, tube O.D's and wall thicknesses used as well as the size of the heim joints used for that conversion.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

the tube od I use is 1.25" ,,,, .120 wall. 5/8 heim I believe the cradle length is 22" long but I will have to check that. I make them with enough extra cradle that it can be cut down 3". I make them out of 1.25" od for ease of installation and once installed you cannot tell the diff. my cradles are stronger than the rest of the frame well 99% of the frames out there.

not sure exactly what your converting but here is a link to a customer of mine that graft one of my front ends to his baja bug. this is a link to where the front end conversion begins but if you go to the first page of the thread you can see the whole conversion.
