Just wondering if anyone is going. Planning on getting there for a practice/testing lap.

Funds too tight for us for the Mint. Warren has promised to help the owner of Motorsports Safety Gear move that weekend .

And yes I am going. I will be in the right seat of Ray Promer's Class-5 unlimited for 1/2 the race.

Cameron, his boys my friend sterling, and myself are working road crossing 1. Kyle, and i'm not sure who else are a few miles,up course from us.
There is no pre running, or fun run. First time you will see the course is on lap 1.
We will all be at tech on Friday. What is your car number?

Not sure yet but still planning on bringing my car for testing.

Mitch, as far as I know there is no pre-running allowed. You might find sections of the course that you could run, but you probably will get the attention of the BLM if you do. This is why the actual course map still has not been released. Rumor is that it is the same basic lap as last year but BITD always keeps the map in their hands until just a couple days before the race to keep prerunning to a minimum.

Want to pre run it, hit the Mohave Trail. It will simulate the first lap if you you get there before the Trophy trucks.

Yes you could, but the mint has a limit on how many entries they accept and they've already hit that number so you would be put on a waiting list and if someone drops out before the race you might get in.
