PICT 30-2 carbi

I have a Solex PICT 30-2 carbi, on the top plate there is a small recessed slotted screw, a little like a needle valve. I can’t find any reference to it in manuals etc and don’t know what it is for or how far in the screw should be adjusted. Any ideas please?
