Thing Battery Relocation

Been looking at relocating my battery from under the pass seat to the engine compartment. Anyone ever do this? I so is it a big job? Also are there reasons why I should NOT do this? Any feedback is welcomed. Thanks

I wouldn't move it. The engine compartment is hotter and cuts the life of the battery. Just figure out a way to elevate the battery in the etock location about 1/2" and the other issue of moisture being trapped under there goes away.
