The price of db & Hot VWs mag has gone up to $34.95 a year.

I guess that is only about $12.00 more than last year.

Hot VW's has been under new management, increased its page count, and is working to increase the value of the magazine to both readers and advertisers. I've been a Hot VW reader from it's beginning, written a few articles for it, and watched its growing pains and ups and downs.

The internet has killed many a print publication. Hot VW's may go that way itself. Our devotion to the cause has kept it alive, and it is the last VW-dedicated mag on the shelves. The price increase is a concession to reality. At the old price, the magazine will quickly fold. If the new price drives away readers, the magazine will fold.

Agree. Have you seen what they pay for VW magazines in Europe???

I think I will just do without dining out one week end and go ahead and re-up my subscription.
