Is there any benefit of fitting a dump valve on a small supercharged engine install?
The engine is EFI with the injectors in the manifolds direct down into the heads so there's no fuel where the dump valve could be located if its an advantage to the engine / supercharger.
Cheers

Re: Dump valve on a supercharged engine?
I like the idea of a bypass valve like Eaton M superchargers have. Under higher vacuum conditions it opens and connects pre/post blower so that it freewheels and doesn't draw as much load on the engine.
With a centrifigul vortex type blower a blow off valve could be useful.
On a positive displacement blower that doesn't have a compressor wheel I see no point.

Okay, thanks. One less job to do then.
