I've fitted literally hundreds of brake servos / boosters to naturally aspirated VW's and also turbo'd VW's.
But I'm building a supercharged pickup for myself. My other bus is turbo'd with the vacuum take off on the manifold below the throttle body butterflies, which works perfectly.
So my question regarding a supercharged engine, where the throttle body is before the supercharger... Do you get a good vacuum in the manifold after the supercharger when you come off the gas? Or do I need to put the vacuum take off after the throttle body but before the supercharger?
Thanks

You get great vacuum in the manifold after the s/c when you lift off the gas

Great, thanks.
I just didn't want to build it all and then find the brakes didn't work as well as expected.
Cheers.

You might want to put a one way valve in line though I dont know what would happen to your brake servo under boost

Hi VWJim, It was no issue on my supercharged engine. Just use a one way valve like V8Nate advised. I had the same setup.
