66 beetle ej20 or ej22

Hello everyone I was hoping to gather some information on a swap.. with a ej 20 turbo swap is there alot of cutting into the car and would the deck lid still close all the way or would I be better of going with a ej 22 non turbo ? I’m really try to keep the car a stock look on the outside with deck lid still able to close all the way but was curious if I can with turbo

I'm almost positive you can make the decklid close with an ej205
